Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue!

I’m up later than I should be, but how can I sleep when I’m so close to actually completing this website! It’s been a work in progress since the beginning of the year. The OG Project was actually conceptualized around 2014 during a conversation with my mother and son. I told them I had a great idea to create a YouTube channel where I could sit down with friends and colleagues to discuss their experiences, upcoming projects, and any thing else worth talk about as artists. Well, it’s 5 years later and I’m just getting up the nerve to actually step out and do “it”. When I say “it” I’m not just referring to #TheOGProject. I’m talking about all of the things that I’ve failed to do for one reason or another during my time on this earth. Oh, and let me tell you the reasons just piled up over time … finances, time, not good enough, fear of failure, fear of judgement, nothing important to say, and the list goes on.

So, now I’m picking up an old idea and putting a new spin on it. I’ve borrowed a page out of Marianne Williamson’s book, A Return to Love … “and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” I’m liberating myself from my own fears and pushing publish on this blue and blush, beautifully self conceptualized and designed website!

Now you go and do a thing that you’ve been putting off… I know… just do it!!! Message me when you’ve done it and let me know about your process!
